Paper love

I really love the cards and framed prints from nineteen seventy three.
You will have seen them all over the place, but seen altogether on their website they just look fab. www.nineteenseventhree.com.

These cards by Sean Sims remind me of 1960's travel illustrations.

And the Playtime range also by Sean Sims has really nostaligic retro feel. Reminds me of ladybird books from my childhood.

Can't go wrong with a bit of Sanna Annuka.

...and this card by Belle and Boo is too cute, she looks just like my niece.

 

 

 

 

Inspirational prints

During the course of the last couple of days I have had the opportunity to look at a wide range of the work of Angie Lewin, artist, printmaker, textile designer and all round inspiration. I have seen her work before but seeing the scale and range has been really inspiring. I love the soft, vintage 50's feel of her botanical prints reminiscent of the work of Lucienne Day.
