Vintage on the Southbank

This weekend's vintage on the South Bank by London's Royal Festival hall this past weekend was a feast for vintage lovers. I decided not to exibit, but I popped along to have a look round the shops and soak up the atmosphere. In typical fashion I wasn't organised enough to take any snaps, but here are a few links to some sites with some pic of the cool outfits and funky retro wares on sale!

Halloween

I've been inspired by Martha Stewart and for the first time in years made a pumpkin lantern for Halloween. It was so much fun (I'm easily entertained) and I even used the bits we cut out to made a lovely pumpkin and parmesan risotto, although I inadvertantly cut up and ate the lids that we meant to put back on the top!

(Note the retro wallpaper in the background! Adding a wall of a big vibrant pattern really made the kitchen. I bought a couple of rolls from a company on ebay that specialises in vintage wallpaper and absolutely love it! More pics of the flat to come later)
